When will my card arrive?
Most cards arrive within a week. They're printed within a couple of business days and then mailed USPS First-Class. Open the order in the app to see where each card is and its expected delivery date.
Can I send a card on a particular day?
Yes. When you choose who the card is for, pick a date under "When should it go out?". We'll hold the card and send it to the printer on that day.
Can I cancel?
Scheduled cards can be canceled for a full refund until the end of the day before the send date (Pacific time): open the order and tap "Cancel & refund". Cards sent right away go to the printer immediately, so they can't be canceled.
What if a card can't be mailed?
If the post office can't deliver to an address, or a card can't be printed, it's refunded automatically. You'll see this on the order in the app.
The app says the post office doesn't recognize an address
We check every address before you pay. Double-check the street, apartment number and ZIP code. If you're sure it's right (new buildings sometimes aren't listed yet), tap "It's right — save anyway". If the card then can't be delivered, we can't refund it.
Can I mail outside the US?
Not yet. Postahoy mails to US addresses only, including apartments and PO boxes.
How do I get the best print?
Use a sharp, well-lit photo. Photos straight from your phone's camera work great. Very small or heavily zoomed images may print blurry.
Where are my photos and contacts stored?
Your card is designed on your phone, and Postahoy only sees the photo and contact you choose. When you order, we receive the finished card and the mailing address. The privacy policy explains the details, including how to ask us to delete your orders.
